This course is accessible for start undertaking BNG assessments. The course demonstrates the practical application of BNG and helps you build familiarity with the process and begin to undertake BNG assessments.

- Accessing, Downloading and Loading NE QGIS files
- Digitising Baseline Habitat Plan in QGIS
- Exporting QGIS Files and Using the BNG Import Tool
- Georeferencing Landscape Post-development Plans in QGIS
- Completing the Baseline Parts of the BNG Statutory Metric Spreadsheet
- Digitising the Post-development Habitats Plan in QGIS
- Exporting Baseline & Proposed QGIS Files and Importing into BNG Spreadsheet
- Completing Baseline & Post-development Parts of the Statutory Metric Spreadsheet

The cost of the course is £150 inclusive of VAT.
The course is delivered on-line and so basic IT skills are essential, ideally including use of QGIS. mapping software.
