The preliminary roost inspection course provided an introduction to undertaking roost inspections in buildings. The course covered the following topics:
– undertaking building inspections;
– identification of bat droppings & other signs of bats;
– species roosting requirements;
– architectural terms.
Course Booking
- The course costs £80 per person.
- Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
- The course will be partly field based and so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
- All attendees will be issued with a certificate of attendance.
- The course will be take place in the Usk Museum, Usk.
Who is the course aimed at?
The course is suitable for graduate and early career ecological consultants, researchers, students, bat group members and enthusiasts wanting to work towards their volunteer bat roost visitor licence, Level 1 Bat Survey/Research Licence (England) or Welsh bat licence.
