Acer Ecology recently carried out a bat survey of a former church proposed for conversion to residential use in Devon. The church was proposed for conversion into four residential units. We undertook a preliminary roost inspection, a series of dusk emergence and dawn re-entry surveys and successfully applied for a development licence from Natural England.
From our offices, we are well placed to undertake ecology surveys throughout Devon, including Newton Abbot, Exmouth, Exeter, Torquay, Plymouth and Dartmoor. We also have capacity to serve the neighbouring counties of Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset.
Our fully licensed ecologists are experienced in bat survey, European Protected Species licensing, and mitigation design and implementation. We are able to provide a competitive quote to potential clients on a case by case basis. If part of your planning application requires a bat survey then we can help ensure that your development passes smoothly through this process.
