The course is aimed at anyone with an interest in local wildlife who want to get a better idea of how the planning system works
This course will help you to understand how wildlife legislation and the planning system works, how ecology issues and reports are dealt with as part of the planning process.
This evening day course covers the following topics:
- Direct wildlife legislation
- The planning system
- Planning policy and legislation
- Local development plans
- Statutory obligations for Local Planning Authorities
- Permitted development rules
- Planning application submissions
- Officer delegated reports and planning committees
- Planning conditions
- Section 106 agreements
- Ecological Case law
The course will be delivered by Acer Ecology staff and will be entirely office based, held in our office in Cardiff Bay.
The course will cost £20 per person. The course runs from 6.00pm until 8.00pm.
