Acer Ecology recently carried out a bat survey of a barn that was proposed for development within the Dartmoor National Park. The building was a relatively modern structure with single skin breeze block walls and a corrugated metal roof. No evidence of bats was recorded, and the building was assessed as having a low potential for use as a bat roost.
Acer Ecology regularly carries out ecology surveys in and around the Dartmoor National Park, including Princetown, Chagford, Dartmeet, Okehampton, Ivybridge and Totnes.
