Acer Ecology were commissioned to carry out a bat survey of Marine Buildings in Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. The building is proposed for a major refurbishment to create a four star Marine Hotel, with 55 bedrooms.
Our bat survey specialists have undertaken numerous surveys of bats in the Vale of Glamorgan including sites in Penarth, Cogan, Colwinston, Corntown, Ewenny, Fonmon, Fontegary, St Andrews Major, Sully and St Donat’s.
Bats and their roosts are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act and the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2017. As such, you may be asked by your local planning authority to undertake a survey for bats. Our ecologists are experienced in bat surveys, European Protected Species licensing, and mitigation design and implementation. We provide competitive quotes to potential clients across South Wales tailored to their individual projects.
