bat survey penygraig tonypandy rhonda cynon taff

We were commissioned to carry out a bat survey of a former chapel in Pen-y-graig, Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taff, South Wales.  The chapel was proposed for conversion to provide living accommodation.

Bats and their roosts are fully protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act and the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2017. As such, your local authority may ask you to undertake a survey for bats.

The objective of a bat survey is to: Establish the presence / likely absence of the bat roosts within trees and buildings; Identify the activity of bats across the site and key commuting and foraging routes; and Recommend ecological mitigation and enhancement where required.

Our ecologists are experienced in bat survey, European Protected Species licensing, mitigation design and implementation and supervision of works. We cover Rhondda Cynon Taff and the South Wales region and the border counties of England.
