Have you been advised to do a bat survey by your local planning authority?
The Wildlife and Countryside Act and the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2017 mean that all bats and their roosts are fully protected.
The objective of a bat survey is to: Establish the presence or likely absence of the bat roosts within trees and buildings; Identify the activity of bats across the site plus key commuting and foraging routes, and Recommend ecological mitigation and enhancement where required.
We are experienced and expanding ecological consultancy which specialises in bat surveys. We are well placed to undertake bat surveys in and across Oxfordshire, for example, Abingdon, Burford, Didcot, Headington, Witney, Woodstock. We can also carry out survey work in the surrounding counties of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Surrey, Bedfordshire, Wiltshire and North-East Somerset.
We can help ensure that your development passes through this process smoothly. Acer Ecology provides competitive quotes to potential clients on a case by case basis.
