Bat Survey Ludlow, Shropshire

We regularly undertake bat surveys in and around Ludlow and the Shropshire areas including Leominster, Shrewsbury, Kingsland, Wigmore, Hoptonheath, Kidderminster, Tenbury Wells, Cleehill, Cleobury Mortimer and Culmington.

Acer Ecology’s fully licensed ecologists are experienced in bat survey, European Protected Species licensing, and mitigation design and implementation and supervision of works. Bats and their roosts are fully protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act and the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2017. As such, your local planning authority may ask you to undertake a bat survey.

The objective of a bat survey is to establish the presence or the likely absence of the bat roosts within trees and buildings, to identify the activity of bats across the site including key commuting and foraging routes and to recommend ecological mitigation and enhancement where required.

For more information about bat surveys or any of our other ecological services, please contact Acer Ecology on 02920 650 331, or email enquiries@acerecology.co.uk.
