bat survey, west williamston, kilgetty

Acer Ecology was commissioned to carry out a bat survey of a cottage in West Williamston, Kilgetty, Pembrokeshire, West Wales. We are an experienced and expanding ecological consultancy specialising in bat surveys and are able to undertake projects across South Wales.

Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act and the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulation 2017, bats and their roosts are fully protected. As such, your local planning authority may ask you to undertake a survey for bats.

The objective of a bat survey is to: Establish the presence or likely absence of bat roosts within buildings and trees; Identify the activity of bats across the site including key foraging and commuting routes, and Recommend ecological mitigation and enhancement where required. Our ecologists are experienced in bat surveys, European Protected Species licensing, mitigation design and implementation, and supervision of works.
