Course Structure
This course is accessible for start undertaking BNG assessments. The course demonstrates the practical application of BNG helps you build familiarity with the process and starting to undertake BNG assessments.
There are 9 elements of the course as detailed below which will enable you to confidently undertake BNG assessments.
The 9 elements of the course are detailed below:
- Introduction to the Course and the Different Elements of BNG Assessments
- Condition Sheets
- Accessing Downloading and Loading NE QGIS files
- Georeferencing Landscape Post-development Plans in QGIS
- Digitising Baseline Data in QQGIS (either from scratch or using the NE QGIS files)
- QGIS Import tool
- Metric Spreadsheet
- Amending Post-development Proposals Plan to secure 10% gain
- BNG Report Writing
The cost of the course is £300 inclusive of VAT.
The course is delivered on-line and so basic IT skills are essential.
