Acer Ecology has recently undertaken a bat survey on a house in Evesham.
Have you been advised to do a bat survey by your local planning authority?
Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act and the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2017, all bats and their roosts are fully protected. By undertaking ecological surveys early in the planning process, ecological constraints can be identified early, saving both time saving and money.
Our staff at Acer Ecology are fully licensed and specialise in undertaking bat surveys.
Bat surveys aim to establish the presence/likely absence of bats within trees and buildings and identify bat activity within the site (highlighting key commuting and foraging routes). Using this information, we work closely with our clients to put together a plan for appropriate ecological mitigation and enhancement where it is required.
We are able to undertake bat surveys in and around Evesham, including Alcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Blockley, Eckington and Pershore. We also have the capacity to undertake surveys in the surrounding counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, West Midlands, Warwickshire, and Gloucestershire.
We are able to provide a competitive quote to potential clients on a case by case basis.
