Acer Ecology have been asked to scope and carry out numerous ecology surveys in South Wales to accompany planning application for single and multiple wind turbine developments. This includes sites in Blaenau Gwent, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Carmarthenshire, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Pembrokeshire, and Ceredigion.

We usually commence surveys with Phase I Habitat surveys with vantage point surveys for birds and bat activity surveys following on some of the sites.

Throughout these projects we work closely with the client to secure Countryside Council for Wales and the Local Authority approval of survey effort to ensure that there is a smooth passage through planning.
